Aizawl is the capital city of Mizoram state in the north east India. It is a modern and charming city of Mizoram, known for its rich culture and tradition. Aizawl city offers tourism attractions in the city as Museum, beautiful scenic view of hills, lakes, waterfalls, wildlife and festivals.

Vantawng Falls – This beautiful and highest waterfall with the height of 229 metres (751 ft) is located at 5 Km south of Thenzawl in Vanva River in Serchhip district of Mizoram. It is heighest waterfall in the Mizoram state. The Vantawng Waterfalls is one of the most mesmerizing and prime tourist attraction in the North East India.

Champhai is a border town in Mizoram state, located at an altitude of 1678 meters above the sea level. Champhai is a bustling commercial town situated at the Indo-Myanmar (Burma) border with the colourful tribal culture, traditions and magnificent view of the Myanmar hills.

Day 01: Arrival at Aizawl

Upon reaching at Aizawl Airport, meet to our representative he will take you to your pre booked hotel in Aizawl. Once you reached, check in to hotel and after refresh rest of the day free for your own activities or leisure and overnight at Aizawl hotel.   

Day 02: Aizawl Local Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast you will proceed for local sightseeing trip of Aizawl and visit to popular tourist attraction of Aizwal city of Mizoram and visit to famous Mizoram State Museum – Located in the heart of the town at Zarkawt. This museum is best described to Mizo traditions, culture and history. Durtlang Hills – located at 5 Km from the Aizawl city on the northern side of Aizawl. This beautiful hill offers a panoramic view of the entire Aizawl city, visit here Zoological Garden & Museum. K V Paradise – Just 1 Km from the Durtlang Hills, we will take you to K V Paradise also known as Taj Mahal of Mizoram, built by Khawlhring in memory of his wife Varte. Later by walking, visit to Handloom and Handicraft centre’s of Aizawl city at traditional Mizo tribal village. In the evening free to stroll in the Bara Bazar – it is a main and famous shopping centre of Aizawl, where you can see local people with their traditional costumes by selling farms and rivers products. Later return to your hotel, enjoy dinner and night stay at the Aizawl hotel.

Day 03: Aizawl to Vantawng (137 Km) Travel distance 3/4 hours - Approx

Morning have breakfast, then check out from hotel and leave for Vantawng by road. Upon arrival, check in to hotel. Get refresh yourself, later proceed for visiting Vantawng Falls – one of the beautiful and highest waterfall of Mizoram state. It is located in Vanva River near Thenzawl, surrounded by the thick bamboo forest. In the evening go for boat ride, later return back to hotel and night halt at hotel.

Day 04: Vantawng / Thenzawl

After breakfast explore nearby tribal villages, where the people are well known for their hospitality and visit to their amazing huts. Later visit to beautiful waterfall Tuirihiau near to Thenzawl. In the evening explore local market of Thenzawl and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Vantawng to Aizawl (137 Km) 

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Aizawl. Upon arrival, check in to hotel, refresh and rest of the day at leisure. In the evening free for your own activities or go for local market visit and overnight stay at hotel.  

Day 06: Aizawl to Champhai (192 Km) Travel duration 7 hours (Approx)

Today after early breakfast you will check out the hotel and will move to Champhai. On arrival, check in to hotel. After freshen up, visit to some of local tourist attraction of Champhai such as Mura Puk – located 6 Km from Champhai, there are six caves in this place. Rih Dil – is a natural and largest lake in Myanmar (Also known as Barma), located at approximate 3 Km kilometers from Zokhawthar village at an Indo-Myanmar border. Mizo Hlakungpui Mual or Mizo Poet’s Square, it is a monument, located at Khawbung village. Also visit to Zokhawthar – Is a trading town, located at 28 km from the Champhai on the border with Myanmar (Burma). Later enjoy the magnificent view of the Myanmar hills. In the evening explore local market of Champhai, return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Champhai.

Day 07: Champhai Sightseeing – Aizawl (192 Km)

After breakfast visit to Murlen National Park, later return back to hotel, post lunch check out from Champhai hotel and drive back to Aizawl. Upon arrival check in to hotel and free for your independent activities or shopping at Aizawl market and night stay at hotel.

Day 08: Departure from Aizawl   

After early breakfast, check out from hotel and get transferred to the Aizawl Airport to board the flight for your further journey back to home or onward destination.
