Dalhousie and Khajjiar – Dalhousie quietly ensconced amidst pine trees with a charming background of the snow clad Himalaya, has a breathtaking scenic beauty. The hill station is surrounded by meadows and forests. It is about 6,500 feet (2,000 meters) above sea level in the foothills of the Dhauladhar Mountain Ranges of the Western Himalayas and peaks can be seen in the distance. Chamba is the district head quarter which is located at around 50 Km from Dalhousie towards Bharmour.

AMRITSAR DALHOUSIE PATHANKOT HOLIDAY PACKAGE

Day 01: Arrival at Amritsar – Amritsar + Wagah Border Sightseeing Tour (34 Km) Travel time 1 hour (Approx)

Arrive at Amritsar, meet to our representative, who will pick you from Amritsar Airport/Railway station and take you to your pre booked hotel. After check in process, go to your room. After refresh, proceed for sightseeing tour of Amritsar and Wagah Border first visit to Gurudwara Sri Harminder Sahib Ji (Famous Golden Temple) – It is one of the most sacred pilgrimage spot for Sikhs. Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji, also Sri Darbar Sahib and informally referred to as the "Golden Temple", is the holiest Gurdwara of Sikhism, located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. The dome of the Gurdwara is gilded with gold, popularizing it by the name of “The Golden Temple”.  Jallianwala Bagh – The Jallianwala Bagh massacre, also known as the Amritsar massacre, took place on 13 April 1919 when a crowd of nonviolent protesters, along with Baishakhi, who had gathered in Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar, Punjab, were fired upon by troops of the British Indian Army under the command of Colonel Reginald Dyer. Durgiana Temple – The Durgiana Temple, also known by other names of Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Durga Tirath and Sitla Mata Mandir, is a premier Hindu temple of Punjab, India. Also visit to Maharaja Ranjit Singh MuseumIt is a modern construction museum and contains Sikh historical collection of paintings exhibited systematically. It also has a light and sound effected stage type panorama where Sikh battles are explained with visual effects. Evening drive to Wagah Border – Wagah is the only road border crossing between Pakistan and India between Amritsar and Lahore cities. The international border between India and Pakistan is located at a distance of 34 km from Amritsar. On arrival at Wagah Border watch the flag closing ceremony at Indo – Pak border. Evening drive back to Amritsar and free for your own activities or explore local market of Amritsar by your own and overnight at Amritsar hotel.

Day 02: Amritsar – Dalhousie (210 Km) Travel time 5/6 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Amritsar hotel and drive to Dalhousie. On arrival at Dalhousie, check in to hotel. Later free for your own activities and overnight at Dalhousie hotel.

Day 03: Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Dalhousie Sightseeing Tour (24 Km) Travel time 1 hour (Approx)

After breakfast, proceed for Dalhousie sightseeing tour and visit to Dalhousie and Khajjiar – Dalhousie quietly ensconced amidst pine trees with a charming background of the snow clad Himalaya, has a breathtaking scenic beauty. Drive to Khajjiar en route visiting St. Francis Church, Bakrota Hills, Subhash Bowly, Panjpulla/Panchpula, Dainkund, Kalatop Sanctuary – Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary is an animal sanctuary at Kalatop and Khajjiar in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The sanctuary area is well laid out for trekking trails both at Kalatop and Khajjiar. On arrival at Khajjiar visit Khajji Lake – Khajjiar is also known as mini Switzer Land of India. It is the most exotic and scenic beauty place around 24 Km from Dalhousie. Khajjiar is officially proclaimed the mini-Switzerland of India. At an altitude of 6450 ft, this saucer shaped green meadow, ringed by Devadar Trees has a lake in the middle complete with floating island. Evening drive back to Dalhousie and after refresh free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Dalhousie town The Mall at Gandhi Chowk and overnight stay at Dalhousie hotel.

Day 04: Dalhousie – Pathankot Departure (90 Km) Travel time 3 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Dalhousie hotel and drive to Pathankot. On arrival at Pathankot transfer to Pathankot Railway station to board the train for further journey back to home or onward destination.
