Delhi is India’s capital territory, is a massive metropolitan area in the country’s north. In Old Delhi, a neighborhood dating to the 1600s stands the imposing Mughal-era Red Fort, a symbol of India and the sprawling Jama Masjid mosque, whose courtyard accommodates 25,000 people. Nearby is Chandni Chowk, a vibrant bazaar filled with food carts, sweets shops and spice stalls.

Agra is a city on the banks of the river Yamuna in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is 378 KM west of the state capital, Lucknow, 206 KM south of the national capital New Delhi and 125 KM north of Gwalior. Agra is one of the most populous cities in Uttar Pradesh. Agra is a major tourist destination because of its many splendid Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, all three of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Agra is included on the Golden Triangle tourist circuit, along with Delhi and Jaipur and the Uttar Pradesh Heritage Arc, tourist circuit of UP state, along Lucknow the capital of the state and Varanasi. Agra falls within the Braj cultural region. The Taj Mahal is one of the most famous buildings in the world, the mausoleum of Shah Jahan's favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is one of the New Seven Wonders of the world, and one of the three World Heritage Sites in Agra. Agra is commonly identified as the "City of Taj. Completed in 1653, the Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal king Shah Jahan as the final resting place for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Finished in marble, it is most beautiful monument of India. This perfectly symmetrical monument took 22 years (1630–1652) of labour and 20,000 workers, masons and jewellers to build and is set amidst landscaped gardens.

5 NIGHTS & 6 DAYS DELHI WITH TAJ MAHAL

Day 01: Arrival at Delhi

Arrival at Delhi, welcome to New Delhi in the capital city of India. Meet to our representative, who will pick you from Delhi Airport and will transfer to your pre-booked hotel, after check in process, check in to your room. After refresh free for independent activities or explore the famous shopping place of Delhi city at Connaught Place. Later return back to hotel and overnight stay at Delhi hotel.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing Tour – 1 (New Delhi & Old Delhi Tour)

After breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Delhi city – Delhi tourist attractions show a majestic fusion of Mughal and British colonial architecture and visit to Parliament House – The Sansad Bhawan (Parliament Building) is the house of the Parliament of India, located in New Delhi. President House (Rastrapati Bhawan) – Residence of Indian president. India Gate (War Memorial) – India Gate is one of the largest war memorials in India. The monument was designed by Edwin Lutyens, the chief architect of New Delhi. Jama Masjid – Jama Masjid or Masjid-I-Jahan-Numa means a world reflecting mosque. This historical place is located in the central heart of old Delhi. Red Fort – The Red Fort was the residence of the Mughal emperor for nearly 200 years, until 1857. It is located in the centre of Delhi and houses a number of museums. Chandni Chowk – Chandni Chowk is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi, India. Chandni Chowk is located close to Old Delhi Railway Station and a major shopping area of Delhi city. Raj Ghat – Raj Ghat is the place where Mahatma Gandhi, revered as the Father of Nation was cremated. This memorial to Mahatma Gandhi is located between the main Ring Road and the banks of Yamuna River. Later return back to hotel and overnight stay at Delhi hotel.

Day 03: Delhi Sightseeing Tour – 2 (New Delhi Tour)

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Delhi city and visiting Laxminarayan Temple – also known as the Birla Mandir is a Hindu Temple up to large extent dedicated to Laxminarayan in Delhi, India. Laxminarayan usually refers to Vishnu, Preserver in the Trimurti also known as Narayan, when he is with his consort Lakshmi. The temple, inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi, was built by B. R. Birla from 1933 and 1939. The side temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna and Lord Buddha. Lotus Temple (Bahai) – It is known for its beautiful flower like architecture and marvelous ambiance that make it a popular tourist attraction for people of all faiths. ISKCON Temple – Is a well known Vaishnav temple of Lord Krishna and Radharani in the form of Radha Parthasarathi. Opened in 1998, it is located at Hare Krishna Hills (Near Nehru Place) in the East of Kailash area of New Delhi. It is one of the top tourist spot of Delhi. It is not just a temple but also a Vedic Learning Center in a very scientific way. Qutub Minar – Qutub Minar, at 73 Meters, is the tallest brick minaret in the world and second highest minar in India after Fateh Burj at Mohalli, Punjab. Qutb Al-Din Aibak was the founder of the Delhi Sultanate started construction of the Qutub Minar in 1200 AD. Qutub Minar is surrounded by several historically significant monuments, which are historically connected with the tower and are part of the Qutub Complex. Evening return back to hotel and free for your own activities and overnight stay at Delhi hotel.

Day 04: Delhi – Agra – Delhi (210 Km) Travel time 4/5 hours (Approx)

After early breakfast drive to Agra. On arrival at Agra, proceed for Agra sightseeing tour and visit to one of the world's famous monument as The Taj (Famous Taj Mahal). Please note Taj is closed on every Friday. So, plan accordingly to Taj visit. It is built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Also visit to magnificent Agra Fort at the bank of River Yamuna, it is situated in the center of the Agra town. Red Fort – Red Fort built by three generations of Mughal Emperors between 1565 and 1573. The Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah – Known as baby Taj. Later drive back to Delhi and overnight stay at Delhi hotel.

Day 05: Delhi Sightseeing Tour – 3 (New Delhi Tour) + Shopping

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Delhi city and visiting Jantar Mantar – The Jantar Mantar is located in the modern city of New Delhi. It consists of 13 architectural astronomy instruments. The site is one of five built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur. Humayun’s Tomb – Humayun's tomb is the tomb of great Mughal Emperor Humayun. Akshardham Temple – Akshardham or Swaminarayan Akshardham complex is a Hindu Temple and a spiritual-cultural campus in New Delhi. This temple attracts approximately 70 percent of all tourists who visit Delhi. It was officially opened on 6 November 2005 by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The temple is located near the banks of the Yamuna. Also visit to Purana Qila (Old Fort) – Is one of the oldest forts in Delhi. Its current form was built by Sher Shah Suri, the founder of the Sur Empire. Later free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Delhi city at Connaught Place/Palika Bazaar and return back to hotel for overnight stay of Delhi hotel.

Day 06: Delhi – Departure Airport

After leisure breakfast check out from Delhi hotel and in time transfer to Delhi Airport to board the flight for further journey back to home or onward destination.
